Sea Freight Method
Industrial cranes are heavy/large-volume cargo. We ship by FCL (Full Container Load) for cranes that fit a 40ft HQ container, or breakbulk for oversized cranes (especially gantry cranes >12m span or full assembled bridges). Air freight is generally NOT economical for cranes.

Incoterms We Quote
- FOB Shanghai/Ningbo — buyer arranges sea freight + insurance. Best for buyers with own forwarder.
- CFR (destination port) — we cover sea freight; buyer covers insurance + clearance. Most common.
- CIF (destination port) — we cover sea freight + insurance; buyer covers clearance.
- DDP (your warehouse) — we cover everything: freight, insurance, customs, inland trucking, duties. Available for most US/EU under 40ft container. Adds 8-15% to project cost.
Packing & Documentation
Cranes are partially disassembled for shipping (main beam, end carriages, electric panel, trolley, hoist, controls). Wooden crates + steel banding for protection. Marine-grade rust prevention. Standard documents included free: commercial invoice, packing list, B/L, Form A (preferential origin), assembly drawing, electrical wiring diagram, operating manual, FAT (factory acceptance test) report. Optional (adds $800-2,000): CE certificate, CCC certification, SGS third-party inspection.
